Great theme, and beautifully done!

Yes, wonderful pics. Your theme reminded me of a great book by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry - "Wind, Sand, and Stars".

You've captured that wonderful windsculpting in sand and snow very well. I miss the NY High peaks snow (but not driving in it!)

How pleasing to the eye!

I picked up a sweet piece of driftwood out of the snow a few days ago at a windsurfing spot. It will look better in my yard than it did on the side of the boat access ramp.

Thanks!

Would you believe this post was nearly 4 years in the making?

:D

The snow pictures were taken the day of our ice yacht adventures, and the way they looked really reminded me of some shots of wind-rippled sand I'd taken out on Coney Island on another very cold winter day with very lovely low-angle light a couple of years back.

Took me a little while to find the Coney Island ones but I really thought it would be fun to see them all side by side.
