  3. I see it's had some modifications, like that winch and the wooden toe rail. I prefer the original design without winches, although that did mean I put some wear and tear on my hands handling the jib sheets this weekend.

    Still, glad you liked the experience!

  6. This really was a great boat. He'd started with a used Etchells; when he began to refurbish it he found that the core of the deck was completely soaked & unsalvageable, so he took a skilsaw to it & completely converted it to a daysailor that he could singlehand comfortably. Still sails like a racer though & we had a fantastic day.
