A Fish Story!
An Honest to Gosh 100% True Fish Story starring me and my friend Vicky, with special guest appearance by Myrrhlyn the Dog, on a beautiful day in Jamaica Bay and Queens. Click here to view the photos!
The salt block got really messy because flounder's so flaky, I hope Vicky was able to clean it off, but boy was it good. Best fish I've eaten in a long time.
It may actually have been more fun blogging about not catching fish than it would've been otherwise. I think I was starting to put the storyline together when Vicky caught the crab, and then it all went from there. :)
Now that's MY kind of fish story! Perfect!
ReplyDeleteThe backup plan was key! As I said to a co-worker this morning, "Whether we caught 'em or bought 'em, we were GOING to grill some fish."
ReplyDeleteAnd really such a beautiful day out on the water.
The big one got away! Looks delicious.
ReplyDeleteI did have one bite, could've been the big one!

You took me there. And I loved it. Wish I could taste the fish.
ReplyDeleteYou are hilarious!! What fun! I am a much better fish purchaser than catcher!!
