CIBBOWS Veteran's Day Charity 5K
Had a great time with Sebago clubmates Phil, Steve, Tony & a lot of other old friends at the CIBBOWS Veteran's Day Swim today!
I had to laugh as I sat there in the aquarium's education hall, putting on my full cold-water regalia (fleece, drysuit & a neoprene hood) to go sit in a boat, while a lot of the swimmers were stripping down to swimsuits.
We loved having you! Thanks so much for coming out to lend a hand. I am looking forward to kayaking with you guys in the spring!
ReplyDeleteNice event, great cause.
ReplyDeleteWhat was the water temp.?
Mid 50's - too cold for me!

Not exactly tropical.
ReplyDeleteNope!
ReplyDeleteAt least the snow held off until Monday, though.
