Monarch Migration Time

Grassy Island, Norwalk Harbor, CT. Taken during yet another great Sebago paddle, this one hosted by a friend at the Norwalk Yacht Club. A gorgeous day in a favorite location & it's always particularly incredible to paddling when the monarchs are heading for Mexico - the air was full of them today.

Thank you Pete and Norwalk YC for a wonderful day!

bonnie - sweet picture. my wife and I were sailing our Sunfish on East Traverse Bay (near Traverse City, Michigan) back in late August, and we saw several monarchs fluttering around above the water - and we were a good mile to mile and a half from either side of the bay. it was pretty amazing to see.
