Because I Have No Time To Blog -

Here's something cool from Facebook:

Tallship Soren Larsen ocean sailing in a gale between Easter Island and Pitcairn, making 9 knots in great ocean sailing conditions. Filmed by Poul Sodeman. See www.sorenlarsen.co.nz for more info.

No time to comment, so here's a Chicken Teriyaki recipe:

4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
1 cup teriyaki sauce
1/4 cup lemon juice
2 teaspoons minced fresh garlic
2 teaspoons sesame oil

Directions:

Place chicken, teriyaki sauce, lemon juice, garlic, and sesame oil in a large resealable plastic bag. Seal bag, and shake to coat. Place in refrigerator for 24 hours, turning every so often.

Preheat grill for high heat.

Lightly oil the grill grate. Remove chicken from bag, discarding any remaining marinade. Grill for 6 to 8 minutes each side, or until juices run clear when chicken is pierced with a fork.

If you pour the remaining marinade into a saucepan and boil for a few minutes, you can thicken it with a cornstarch slurry and nape over the breasts and some sticky rice, if you want.

I was going to add that, but, geesh, who's got the time?

No time to comment so here's Rule 18.3 from the Racing Rule of Sailing

If two boats were approaching a mark on opposite tacks and one of them changes tack, and as a result is subject to rule 13 in the zone when the other is fetching the mark, rule 18.2 does not thereafter
apply.

The boat that changed tack

(a) shall not cause the other boat to sail above close-hauled to avoid her or prevent the other boat from passing the mark on the required side, and

(b) shall give mark-room if the other boat becomes overlapped inside her.

I can't tell you how excited I would be if I was ever in a dinghy race where I got close enough to another boat to worry about overlap!

I can't tell you how excited I would be if I were smart enough to understand what the hell Rule 18.3 is trying to say.
