Not Half Bad.
Home from a very pleasant day of hiking with friends from Sebago. It's snowing in Brooklyn. I am now murdering some clams for chowder. It's been a good day (although not for the clams).
Looks like a great hike. We were at the ALS annual hike and party. Awesome food and if you haven't seen Don Riepe do a serious flamenco dance, you'd better show up next year. He can't keep this up forever, or so he claims. These people walk the walk for the bay every day and it is humbling to support them.
Great preview of a Jamaica Bay documentary film and a fine "ugly auction" as usual (brass-plated horseshoe crab door knocker, anyone?). Sorry we couldn't be at the Sebago hike! Missed you guys...
