Happy Solstice!
Here's a beautiful song to celebrate this day. It's gray and rainy and windy here in NYC today, but I'm happy to think that the days will now start stretching longer!
Nothing like music to cheer up a gloomy day. I am so excited for the days to start getting longer, it's tough to cook meat on my grill when I can't see it.
Gloomy and rainy. And cold, right?! Just lived through a nasty wind/snow storm here last night. Not so much of the latter, but plenty of the former--straight out of the north and off some polar iceberg. Brrr... Here's to longer days! I can already feel the light!

Indeed!
I don't think I could move any further north than I already am, hate leaving work in the pitch dark.
That was glorious!

Actually it's been pretty warm for the last couple of days, but rainy and windy.
Trying for a paddle tomorrow though!
