Erie Canal moonrise break, anyone?

Clyde and Newark. Newark was actually first but I wanted to put the best shot first. Internet is kind of angsty tonight after presidential debate #3 so I thought I would just share something calm here. Click for slideshow view, as usual. Enjoy!

Brilliant full moon and some big spring tides at the moment, I got very wet feet running back along the river path on Tuesday just after HW

Yes, the reflections on the water are very calming. The networks should these images before and after the debates. And maybe intermittently during the debates, too.

The Erie Canal is beautiful. I've seen it (and walked along it) at Pittsford, near Rochester. I highly recommend that part of New York State (incidentally, I live in what is called the Southern Tier of upstate New York)for its beauty and history. Happy you found that beauty. Perhaps you can return next July for the Erie Canal "Votilla" from Seneca Falls to Rochester celebrating the 100th anniversary of NY women getting the vote. I wish I had a boat to join in with!

Nothing like the beauty of Mother Nature to wash away unpleasant things. Brenda
