My brotherinlaw and his wife volunteered to work with Docters without borders in Central America treating children with cleft pallets, all at their own expense for two weeks last year. This organization does incredibly great work.

On Wednesday DW badly fractured her arm. Within 8 hrs. she was examined , x-rayed operated on by a specialist. She was cared for by a fleet of aids, nurses, docters, recovered in a private room where we could watch the incredible suffering of the poor people in Haiti on live cable TV. Be generous, donate whatever you can. Every little bit will help.

Thanks, Dennis G. Moonstruck. I had the impression they were one of the best to give to, and it is great to hear that backed up from someone with an inside view.

Best wishes to DW for a fast & trouble-free recovery!
