It's that time of year again! Once again, Capt. Pamela Hepburn of the beautiful old Tugboat Pegasus and Showman David Sharps of the world-famous Waterfront Museum and Showboat Barge are getting their act together and taking it on the watery road. Join them at the Brooklyn Bridge Park from July 14th - July 24th or at the Hudson River Park in Tribeca from July 28th - July 31st.
Full details here, including information on buying tickets for any of the 3 trips involved -from the museum's home in Red Hook to the Brooklyn Bridge Park, from there to Tribeca, and then back home to Red Hook - each vessel can take 12 passengers - I've been for some great rides on the Pegasus & I think it would be even cooler to actually have the experience of being on board when she's travelling with a barge "on the hip", doing the job she was built for.
