PS - my chili had 3 kinds of chiles plus chili powder, does that mean it kills cancer 3 ways?
PPS - Pandabonium, I put enough other stuff in this chili that I think I could have left out the elk and it still would've been good. Just seemed like excellent chili weather - and with TQ working for the parks department bad weather means lots of work for him; in fact for this one he worked overnight & then most of the day on Saturday, out there shoveling things out with his crew. I'd been saving the elk for a special occasion and when TQ told me what his schedule was going to be I decided that sounded like as good a reason to make chili as I was likely to find.

4 different kinds of tomatoes and tomatillos to boot? She must know what she's doing.
Yowza. This is only the 2nd pot of chili I've ever made. But I'll take that comment as an indication I'm on the right track! :D
Chile, Chilli, Chilly, Chilie or Chillie?
What's the difference?
Is this anything to do with a chinchilla?
Does chili cause cancer?
looks great, if it wasn't for the snow we'd be making our way to yours for dinner !!! ;O)
Nice! I haven't made chili in while. I'll have to do that soon - mine is "chili sin carne" (chili without meat). :) Be warm.
According to this site chili causes cancer cells to self-destruct.
Chili vs. chile? I thought our favorite New Mexican language guru must have had something to say on the matter, and sure enough, she did!
