Honu!
Good morning! I'm back, and here's a Hawaiian Green Sea Turtle for you. Lots more from my amazing honu-watching walk along the beach from Haleiwa to Laniakea here. Turtles grazing, turtles basking, and Malama Na Honu teaching people to treat the turtles with courtesy.
It's great to see the Honu population increasing. The last time I was on the Big Island a Honu zipped past me underwater. I was blown away by her speed.

And I could wonder if the camber of a turtle's back compared to its flatter underside helps it develop some lift?
I'm getting homesick.
