Friday night: A spectacular Sebago/LIC Boathouse paddle to the Brooklyn Bridge Park, followed by GREAT pizza and beer. Here was the midpoint:

Saturday morning: Up early to go help out the Coney Island Brighton Beach Open Water Swimmers, aka CIBBOWS, with their Aquarium 1M/5K swim.
Some great swimming (the 5K was the US Master's Swimming Association's 5K championship) on a beautiful morning, a nice little sun on my pasty legs as I borrowed a sit-atop for the event, then an awards ceremony with good food, good beer, and --- WOOHOO --- schwim schwag with art by the one and only Bowsprite (pix of said schwag "TK"). CIBBOWS rocks!
