Where's My Hasenpfeffer?

Marinating in a bag in the refrigerator. Where's YOUR hasenpfeffer?

aaaand, seven hours later or so - does that look any better? :D

I will have to do a post-cooking shot though. I've cooked rabbit before, but I've never used this recipe, and the color is making me wonder if I'm going to end up with another purple dinner!

I used to hunt rabbits in high school. I'd clean them and eat them.

how did the hasenpfeffer turn out?

Oh, it was delicious! The meat came out of the marinade a very odd color because of the red wine, but it browned up absolutely beautifully. I'll definitely use that recipe again.
