Abandoned ship

Taken on yesterday's return to the Staten Island "Graveyard of Ships". I was joined on this trip by Tugster - and look, he's already given a name & a bit of history to the hulk on the right.

WOW! I wonder it there are any ghosts ? Great turning mark for racing!!! Short sail yesterday. Light air.. Love light air. Older I get the less wind I need!!!Abby is stopping in So. Africa. Good idea. Why go arround the world and not see anything? Sir Francis Chichester stopped a few times and the Queen Knighted him.

Spooky!

Should return when the moon is full and a mist is drifting slowly across the water......

Dennis G Moonstruck, I'd seen that about Abby, and I thought "Well, it's good that even though she's from a God-is-my-co-pilot type background, they aren't going so far as to expect God to be her autopilot, too." Smart move. Honestly, I'm happy for Jessica Watson, who (assuming she makes it the rest of the way OK, knock wood) will now get to enjoy her record for a little more time before some other precocious nipper nips her.

Capt. JP, that would be very cool...

Will, thanks again for getting me to pull that together!

That's amazing. Ever since seeing photos of this place, I have always been intrigued by it.
